From Comic-con San Diego, we have a look at the prequel 343 Industries and Microsoft are rolling out for the new Halo 4 game to be released 4th
quarter this year. This is an excellent marketing strategy to hype up the new game. These episodes will roll out on Machinima’s
YouTube page beginning 10/5/12, and will give us a look at what events took place
before where we pick up in Halo 4. Now back during E3 we saw a trailer
featuring game play footage, the game is being totally redesigned from its predecessor
Halo 3. Master Chief is getting some aesthetic
upgrades, as well as a new HUD (heads up display) and much more. In addition are new enemies that the Spartan
will face known as Prometheans. So here’s the link to the
full length trailer for Forward Unto Dawn featuring Anna Popplewell from the
Chronicles of Narnia series.

Neat game!
So lately my wife and I have been on a online RPG kick. We’ve found a game called “Lord of Ultima”. I must say that this is the best little
online strategy game I have ever played.
Premises of the game are to build a city, arm it with troops and
hopefully join a decent group of people called an Alliance. This game reminds me a lot of the old games
like Civilization and Age of Empires.
There is also a Wiki database with full tutorials over at www.lordofultima.com/en/wiki If you would like to test
it out head over to http://lordofultima.com it’s free to play and runs in your browser,
so there’s no pesky downloads. When you sign up choose world 74 and look me
up. My players name is Vitan86.
The Dark Knight Rises
In a few days the latest installment
in the Christopher Nolan Batman franchise will be released, “The Dark Knight
Rises”. Reprising his role will be
Christian Bale as Batman/Bruce Wayne. Alongside
are several new comers to the series.
Anne Hathaway will be portraying Selina Kyle aka Catwoman, Tom Hardy as
Bane, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake.
In this installment, 8 years after the last movie, Batman has taken the
blame for the death of Harvey Dent.
During this time a mysterious woman Selina Kyle appears in a string of burglaries. And we have Bane, a terrorist, coming into
play. This
will be the epic conclusion to the trilogy; will Batman be able rise to thwart
Bane and his plan to destroy Gotham City?
July 20th we will find out.
There’s been a lot of hype on
this movie and if it will surpass “The Avengers”. I personally don’t see this happening, but
you never can tell these days. Batman is
one of my favorite comic book heroes of all time. So you can bet I’ll be there this Friday
night in line to watch. So after I see
the movie I’ll get right back on here and give you my in-depth impression and
review!
